Dr. Dimla is a medical professional from the Philippines specializing in pediatrics, experimental and clinical pharmacology, and nutrition. She serves as the general pediatrics consultant at Pasig Doctors Medical Center. She is also an associate professor, member of the research ethical board, and director for Quality and Patient Services at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Inc. (UERMMMCI). 

Aside from being a medical doctor, Dr. Dimla has also published several articles on pharmacology, adolescent and pediatric health and nutrition. She advocates for a healthier lifestyle among school-age children and adolescents as various factors and influences are currently present in schools and within the community. She also views harm reduction as a vital movement in addressing certain issues which are relevant to the youth of today’s generation. Her medical and empirical approach towards harm reduction is indeed significant and relevant to this year’s forum.
