An advocate and a long-time user, Ms. Clarisse Virginio has been a valuable ally in the community for almost a decade. Since 2018, she been active in the THR consumer advocacy providing noteworthy contributions to the group. Even in international pursuits, she has been sought out to be a panelist in various forums like the Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum, Global Forum on Nicotine, and City Health Conference.
Earning a Juris Doctor degree at the Arellano University, she is also a book editor and writer that has published pertinent works with The Manila Times, Rappler, and Healthcare Magazine. She finished her AB English degree at the University of the East, and was part of the UP Law Center Paralegal Program batch 13, while she was still pursuing her Juris Doctor degree. Currently, she is reviewing for the upcoming Bar examinations while remaining as an active member of the Coalition of Asia Pacific Tobacco Harm Reduction Advocates.
